Traditional Medical Practice Ultrasound Scanners

Traditional ultrasound scanners refer to standard cart-mounted ultrasound devices designed for fixed use in specialist clinics or hospital departments. Unlike portable models, they feature a large screen, an ergonomic keyboard and advanced features that make them the go-to tools for in-depth ultrasound examinations.

Image quality and advanced diagnostic features

Conventional cart-mounted ultrasound scanners offer the best image quality available in their class, thanks to powerful signal processors and high-tech transducers. They incorporate B-mode, M-mode, colour Doppler, pulsed Doppler, continuous wave Doppler and 3D/4D modes on the latest models. Enhanced harmonic imaging provides optimal signal-to-noise ratio even in patients with poor echogenicity.

Optimised ergonomics and workflow

The ergonomics of the classic ultrasound scanner are designed to facilitate the examination of numerous patients per day under the best possible conditions. The integrated QWERTY keyboard simplifies documentation, the large touchscreen allows for intuitive adjustment of settings, and USB and DICOM ports enable image archiving and transmission. The motorised trolley on certain models facilitates movement between rooms or to the bedsides of hospitalised patients.
