Professional Medical Soaps for Medical Practices

Hand washing with soap remains the fundamental hygiene practice in medicine for removing visible dirt and reducing the microbial load on the skin prior to treatment. In medical practices, soap must be effective against common pathogens, gentle enough for use several times a day by healthcare staff, and available in a practical form that encourages its use.

Antiseptic liquid and foaming soaps

Antiseptic liquid soaps containing chlorhexidine or povidone-iodine are recommended for high-risk procedures and for hygienic hand washing prior to inserting an intravenous line or a catheter. Mild, skin-protective soaps without antiseptics are sufficient for routine handwashing in the practice, preserving the skin’s hydrolipidic film in healthcare workers who wash their hands numerous times a day.

Formats and dispensers for the practice

Our medical soaps are available in individual 250–500 ml pump bottles for consultation sinks, in 1 L refill pouches for fixed wall-mounted dispensers, and in 5 L containers for restocking supplies. The elbow- or knee-operated wall-mounted dispenser – which prevents dirty hands from coming into contact with the bottle – is recommended for optimal hygiene in treatment rooms. Our soaps are dermatologically tested for intensive use without causing skin dryness.
