Adjustable Medical Stools for Clinics

The adjustable medical stool is an essential piece of professional seating for practitioners carrying out treatments or examinations whilst seated. Whether performing an ECG, a gynaecological examination, injections or wound care, a properly adjusted stool protects the practitioner’s back and improves the precision and technical quality of medical procedures carried out whilst seated.

Height adjustment and postural comfort

The height of the medical stool must be adjusted so that the seated practitioner’s knees form a 90° angle, with their feet flat on the floor. The seat must be firm enough to keep the pelvis in a neutral position without sagging. Our pneumatic-cylinder stools allow for continuous and precise height adjustment between 45 and 65 cm depending on the model, catering to all body types. The high-density foam padding retains its shape over time.

With or without a backrest, mobile or fixed

The stool with a backrest is recommended for long treatment sessions requiring prolonged sitting. The lumbar support cushions the lower back and reduces muscle fatigue over time. The swivel castors allow you to move sideways without standing up, which is useful when treating patients near the examination table. Models without castors are preferable when perfect stability is required for precise technical movements.
